Are You Planting A Garden of Hope?
April 12, 2024
Have you ever planted a garden? You don’t just set the seeds down on top of the soil so you can keep your eye on it. No, you actually bury them under the dirt where you can’t see a thing.
And then, as tempting as it is, you don’t go back every day and dig up the seed to see if anything is happening. That would destroy the process!
You wait. You water and you wait. And trust the sunshine and the rain will do their part to make something new out of the tiny seed you planted.
Not every seed will grow, but that doesn’t make you a bad gardener. Some plants will grow delicious fruit, others won’t. It’s not up to you to produce fruit from the seeds you’ve planted.
Are you getting my analogy?
Our job is to plant the seeds, water them and give them plenty of light from the sun. And wait, with great expectation of what might emerge from the dirt.
Remember, choose hope today.
