Can churches work together to demonstrate hope? I was scheduled to do a concert in a small church in rural Nebraska. It seemed like it was going to be simply a normal stop, until I found out the great idea that was behind the concert.
See, this small church decided to partner with three other churches in the area to help foster fellowship and community, in spite of the differing denominations. And they wanted to use my concert as a chance for them all to come together. I loved this. And wish it wasn’t such a radical idea!
What I find is more normal is that churches are more than happy to have people come visit their church, but they don’t like their people going to events at other churches.
Thank you to the churches of Hooper, Nebraska who are choosing to live hope by tearing down denominational walls that usually tend to keep us apart.
Remember, choose hope today.
I love that idea so much!
