Hope is such a fantastic concept to hold us steady through whatever life throws at us. But is it enough to simply be a steady person? Or should hope lead us to action?
I believe a big part of living a life of hope is being fueled by love. When you know how incredibly loved you are by God, you are then free to give that same love away to every other person.
1 John 4:11 says, “Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.”
I believe that loving people is more than a “hello” or a kind smile, though those are great things. But I believe we love people when we extend to them the same grace and mercy that we desire to have extended to ourselves. As great believers in hope, let’s learn how to express that hope to a needy world.
Remember, choose hope today.
Okay, Marcus - you win!!! It’s not enough to hope for change or a serious attitude adjustment but . . When others encourage our hope in the dark times, amazing things happen!!!
