Does Hope Make You Confident?

Confidence usually stems from a place of experience. You remember that you’ve done this before, and you can do this again.

Hebrews 10:22-23 says, “Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings… Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”

These verses talk about placing our confidence in God… and how our future is secure because God is in charge. How would this kind of living change your day to day life? Would you stand up a little taller, knowing your Father in heaven has already paved the way for you to go? Would you courageously reach out to people with the love of God, knowing there’s nothing anyone can do to harm you?

Place your hope in God, and let it infiltrate every aspect of your life and you’ll see God working in ways you’ve never dreamed.
