Greet Each Morning With Hope
April 15, 2024
I resonated with something a friend told me. We were talking about living life to the fullest, being adventurous and brave. In his raw, non-religious way he said, “When I get up in the morning, I look up and say, Ok, what’ve you got for me today! I’m ready to do anything and go anywhere.” I love that, and say something very similar to that myself.
I love looking to God with open eyes and open hands asking to be guided toward what he has for me. Sometimes the best God-ordained moments can be missed when we’re not looking for them.
Romans 8:15-16 says, “You have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
As a child of God, you can live hope by approaching each day with an expectancy directed straight at the Source of all hope.
Remember, choose hope today.
