Using Hope to Escape Isolation
May 1, 2026
One of the best lies the enemy uses against us is to tell us that life is better in isolation. You know what I mean?
You start dealing with people and your hands get messy, right? Or… Nobody really cares what you’re going through, it’s best to just keep it to yourself.
I know that you can even be surrounded by people, yet still living in isolation, guarding your heart against additional pain and sadness that you’ve already experienced.
God says, get out and love people.
Ephesians 5:2 says, “And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
Give your life to someone else by loving them. A big part of loving them is the willingness to share your heart with them, to share your personal story, trusting that God can use it to be encouragement to them, and hope to yourself.
Remember, choose hope today.
