Why All the Fuss About Hope In Culture?
July 23, 2024
Hope is everywhere these days. You turn on the TV or radio and you hear people talk about hope. Companies are touting hope as the by-product received when you purchase whatever they’re selling.
Is this a good thing? Or is the true meaning of hope being watered down? I believe it’s a great thing.
I believe our culture is primed for us to speak the truth about the meaning of hope. Yes, hope shows up in a variety of ways. Hope is shared as easily as a smile given to the person behind the counter at the coffee shop. Sometimes it’s in a warm coat given to someone living outside.
It’s also shown by how you live hope, especially in the midst of difficult circumstances.
If you are able to say, “My hope is based on nothing less than Jesus and his righteousness,” when the world around you is falling to pieces, people will know true hope.
Remember, choose hope today.
